Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. What you are buying

Kathaayan sells prepaid credits and, where offered, monthly plans that grant credits. Credits are digital goods used to generate AI videos, images, and GIFs. Credits are consumed at the moment you generate content.

2. Failed generations are never charged

If a generation fails for a technical reason on our side, the credits for that generation are automatically returned to your balance. You are only charged for content that is successfully delivered. If you believe you were charged for a failed render, contact us and we will restore the credits.

3. Unused credits

One-time credit packs never expire. If you purchased a credit pack and have not yet used any of its credits, you may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase by emailing support@kathaayan.com from the email on your account. Once any credits from a purchase have been consumed, that purchase is non-refundable, because the underlying AI compute has already been paid for on your behalf.

4. Subscriptions

You can cancel a monthly plan at any time; cancellation stops future renewals. The current billing period is not refunded, and any credits already granted for that period remain usable. There is no long-term contract.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@kathaayan.com with the account email and the approximate date and amount of the purchase. We respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via our payment processor (Razorpay) and typically settle in 5-7 business days.
